Bargello Weekend #2 Posted on February 10, 2008 by Norma Hanson This is the bargello quilt that I started last Sunday. I added the third strata today. I am committed to finishing this one to at least the flimsy stage as I don’t want anything further to add to the UFO pile!
I am lovin’ this so far! The zigzag across the top with the same color looks really neat–sorta like a ripple afghan but with fabric, LOL.
I am really going to have to sew this week to get caught up with you. Tuesday is time out for making memorial hearts at our quilt meeting and you know that other thing hanging over my head. BUT I don’t want another UFO either so that should be enough to motivate me plus it is just plain fun sewing on something I want to work on.
I love your Bargello quilt so far. It’s gorgeous.
I just love the colors in this one *s*
Looking good …. 🙂
Had to pop over from Linda J’s and see what your bargello looked like *VBS* It’s great! Going to be a very pretty quilt, and doesn’t it feel great to have those strips used up? Hugs, Finn
I have three strips done too. I’d really like to finish it completely too!
Looks great! Now I’m feeling like I’ve fallen behind on mine!!
Very pretty! Working up very well. I have my strips cut, and that is it so far.
