I love the 9 patch quilt and the quilting you have done on it. As well as the Bricks and Stepping stones quilt. Lovely wedding pictures. I have been reading but not commenting lately – so I am trying to catch up.

They do look like ribbons—and I know that you have “For the Beauty of the Earth” to enjoy in between their flowering. As gorgeous as those tulips are, the mountain scenery is just as beautiful. How blessed you are to have that in your backyard so to speak.

How fabulously beautiful! I imagine these are taken up your way. Probably similar sights a bit south near LaConner WA. I remember my dad always drove from Seattle to LaConner every spring because he thought Tillinghast Farms had the best seed anywhere. It was a great drive so we used it as a family trip instead of him ordering from the seed catalog.
Tulips grown on mass like that look wonderful in Holland but with those fabulous mountains in the background, what can I say………..awesome!!!!!!!!!!
Lucky you to see tulips blooming! Here in Toronto, my tulips are just barely up, but soon, soon they will bloom.
Wow those colours! Beautiful tulips…..there is certainly a landscape quilt or wall hanging in that view. You must feel inspired to use it and savour it after the blooms have gone. Just amazing…thanks for sharing the photos!

Ever since I visited a huge tulip farm in Holland I’ve been in awe of that flower. So many beautiful colors!
Wow. We used to go to Woodburn, Oregon when they had the tulip festival and it was like that….just colors EVERYWHERE. How can anyone not believe in God when they see that?? Thanks for sharing. It made me smile. 🙂

How beautiful – I grew up where sweet peas were grown for seed. I do so miss seeing fields and fields of color . . . not to mention the lovely smell.
