Bryce Canyon National Park was our favorite park that we visited on this trip. The scenery at Bryce takes your breath away!
These pictures were taken from various view points in Bryce Canyon.
This is my husband–standing on the edge of Bryce Canyon.
In the gift shop at the entrance to Bryce there were some quilt kits to make your own souvenir of Bryce Canyon. The kits contained the photo blocks and the pattern. You have to add your own batik fabrics to make the block sashing and quilt borders. I picked up one of these kits.
Who knew that you could find something quilt related in a National Park?
WOW!! this is WAY cool to find momentos with a quilt-eee flavor!
I was going to ask if you visited any Utah quilt stores…we have some REALLY awesome ones…lots of them =)

I bought those when my hubby and I went to the Grand Canyon earlier this year. I haven’t done anything with them yet, though.
Bryce Canyon looks amazing. The rocks look tall and thin, is that correct?
Gotta love any quilt related item even in a national park. You probably thought you would have to wait till you had more of a layover down the road to hit a quilt shop.
I’ve been to Bryce twice. First with friends and little time to explore second time there was snow and only the roads were open.
Will look forward to seeing your quilt with the blocks you bought.
