Do You Recognize This Quilt Pattern?

Does anyone recognize this quilt pattern? My mother and I thought this would be a great table topper quilt done in seasonal fabrics. This quilt was also at the fair, but unfortunately, the pattern was not identified.

UPDATE: The mystery is solved. Thanks to Kim @ A Peach in Stitches, the name of this pattern is BQ from Maple Island Quilts. Several sent me the name, but Kim provided a copy of the pattern jacket so I know exactly what I am looking for in the quilt shop. Thanks, Kim!

  1. Love this and might have to see if I can draft it in EQ. I had a FQ of that tulip fabric but used it in another project. Too bad I didn’t see this one first!

  2. It kinda looks like a reversed Bento Box or something. I bet you would draw it up easily enough or as Nancy said, EQ it. Sorry that I cannot help with the name.

If the maker used a commercial pattern, then she should have acknowledged its source. That’s a pet peeve of mine at any quilt show especially when I know for a fact, that it was in this or that book. The organizer should insist on that on the entry form–original design or an adaption/replica of Susie Q’s blah, blah, blah. Credit where credit is due after all.

  3. It looks somewhat like the pattern BQ~from Maple Leaf(?…I’m not quite sure of the designer!) I have seen bigger versions on some quilting blogs.

  4. Yes, I think it looks like the BQ pattern Andi mentioned except with the blocks turned a little differently. I like it! I bought that pattern a few weeks ago and I’ll have to keep this “twist” in mind.

  5. So glad you were able to find out what it is called. It’s a very attractive quilt. And it looks like it might not take that long to make..aren’t quilters just the best??
