The snow continued to fall here last night.\u00a0 The snow mixed with\u00a0high winds (60 to 80 km\/hr)\u00a0resulted in\u00a0white out conditions\u00a0and a bit of a wild\u00a0drive to work today.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

<\/a><\/div>\n

Barbecue season and meals in the backyard seem so far away.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/div>\n

This truck is not going anywhere soon.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/div>\n

On the quilting front, progress is being made on piecing the blocks for\u00a0Got Stripes and on attaching the binding to Fire Escape.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/div>\n

I am currently working on row 7 of 11 on Got Stripes.\u00a0 Rows 1 to 5 are\u00a0completely joined together.\u00a0 Row 6 blocks are joined to one another but row 6 is not yet joined to\u00a0rows 1 to 5.\u00a0 I have just started working on row 7 – only one star block assembled so far on that row.<\/p>\n

The binding has been attached to Fire Escape.\u00a0 When I can steal a few moments, I work on hand stitching the binding to the back of the quilt.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
