PieceMakers Quilt Show – Part 5

This is the last group of photos from our guild’s recent quilt show. Many members are waiting to see their quilts on line so I have posted many more pictures than I normally do after a quilt show. I hope you enjoyed the show! This is our We Care donation quilt display. Guild members make quilts for the We Care Program throughout the year and then these quilts are donated to community service agencies, hospitals, and care homes for distribution to members of the community in need of comfort.

  1. Wow some more—I was having problems opening up the comment section for some reason.

So many lovely quilts–8486, 8479 and 8445 were particular favorites but I am glad I didnt have to vote for viewer’s choice as it would have been hard to single out any one quilt.

I loved seeing the We Care section as well as the Japanese-Canada exchange. So interesting how each person individualizes the same group of blocks.

Must have taken you forever to load all these pictures. You surely were the official documenter of this year’s quilt show!

  2. It looks like it was a great show Norma – thanks so much for showing us all the pictures. One day I will have to try to get out there a show. Too bad it wasn’t the weekend I was at Harrison Hot Springs :))

  3. What a wonderful array of quilts. Thanks for showing us. One called a rail fence took my eye.

The care quilts look so bright and colourful and are sure to please and comfort their new owners – well done.

  4. Well thank you so much for posting all the beautiful pictures from the quilt show. I wandered over here from the B&W+1 Challenge and I am so glad I did!

One quilt in particular caught my eye- a really bright one with boxes in boxes… scroll down a little more, and it was your quilt! I just love it! I’m having fun looking through your blog. Lots of inspiration!
