I finished the t-shirt quilt. I was commissioned to make this quilt by a customer who wanted a memory quilt centered around her love of running marathons. I have grown fond of it and hate to let it go. I am now going to have to make a quilt for myself out of the collection of old t-shirts that I saved! This block seemed particularly appropriate for today. HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY to all the mothers out there reading this blog!
You did a great job quilting this – I know alot of quilters complain about quilting over the t-shirt design itself – you came up with a good idea!
I thought I might like to make a t-shirt quilt, but only have 2 of them! I might have 1-2 more packed away, but that still makes only 4 shirts.
Yours is really nice!
Cheers!
Evelyn
I also like the quilting on this t-shirt quilt…it came out great.
I like this quilt and the circles you did in the middle of each block are just perfect!!! The owner will love it!
Cool quilting on a special quilt 🙂 You are good !
Good for you, Norma and it looks great! Love the pics from the quilt shows too.
I love the spirals on this – what did you use to quilt them? I like T-shirt quilts as memory quilts and will eventually make myself one with T-shirts I buy on my travels.
the circles/spirals(?) really pop the T-shirst- lovely!
T-Shirt quilt looks great. Love the spirals in the center. Did you use the Circle Lord template to do those?
